Deconstructing and re-imagining classic stories

HeadFirst Productions produces mid-scale opera and theatre with high production values. Our work is always socially engaged; embracing ever-shifting perceptions and paradigms is as vital as choosing the right story, be it a play, an opera, music or dance. All stories are mirrors that reflect our world and help us to experience more clearly what we think, feel and desire - to reveal what makes us who we are.

We are committed to creating work that is dynamic, engaging and exciting. The company strives to increase accessibility to the arts by producing exceptional work that is appealing for a new audience as well as for regular theatre-goers. We support emerging talent and always pay our artists.
